Focus and Scope
RES PUBLICA: International Review of Public Law and Political Studies focuses on contemporary developments, challenges, and scholarly debates in public law and political studies. The journal provides a forum for rigorous legal, political, interdisciplinary, comparative, and policy-oriented research examining the relationship between law, political institutions, government, governance, and society.
The journal welcomes original research articles, conceptual and theoretical studies, comparative analyses, and critical reviews addressing issues within public law and political studies. Contributions may employ doctrinal, normative, empirical, socio-legal, comparative, historical, or interdisciplinary approaches, provided that they demonstrate clear academic relevance and contribute to the advancement of knowledge.
The scope of RES PUBLICA includes, but is not limited to:

RES PUBLICA particularly encourages manuscripts that offer original arguments, robust evidence, methodological rigor, comparative perspectives, or significant implications for legal development, institutional reform, public policy, governance, and democratic development.
The journal welcomes scholarly contributions from researchers, academics, legal scholars, political scientists, practitioners, policymakers, and other scholars from Indonesia and the international academic community.
