  • Originality – the main contribution, novelty, or significance of the study.

The abstract should be concise and written as a single coherent section.

4. Keywords

Authors should provide 3 keywords or key phrases that represent the main concepts of the manuscript. Keywords should be specific and relevant to the research topic.

5. Introduction

The Introduction should establish the research context and explain why the study is important. It should include:

  • Background and research context;

  • Relevant scholarly literature;

  • State of the art;

  • Research gap or unresolved problem;

  • Research questions or research objectives;

  • Theoretical or conceptual perspective, where appropriate;

  • Research contribution and/or novelty.

6. Literature Review / Theoretical Framework

The literature review should critically discuss relevant previous studies and theories rather than merely describing them.

Authors should:

  • Use relevant and recent scholarly sources;

  • Identify important theoretical perspectives;

  • Compare and synthesize previous findings;

  • Establish the conceptual basis of the research;

  • Clearly position the present study within the existing literature.

This section may be integrated into the Introduction when appropriate.

7. Method

The Method section should provide sufficient information to allow readers to understand how the research was conducted.

Depending on the research design, the section should explain:

  • Research approach and design;

  • Research setting and period;

  • Participants, informants, or data sources;

  • Sampling or selection procedures;

  • Data collection techniques;

  • Research instruments, where applicable;

  • Data analysis procedures;

  • Ethical considerations, where applicable.

For qualitative studies, authors should clearly explain the procedures of data collection, coding, categorization, interpretation, and validation. For quantitative studies, authors should explain the population, sample, measurement instruments, variables, and statistical analysis.

8. Results

Results should directly address the research questions or objectives and must be supported by appropriate empirical evidence.

Tables, figures, quotations, or other forms of evidence may be used when necessary.

Authors should explain:

  • The meaning and significance of the findings;

  • How the findings answer the research questions;

  • The relationship between the findings and previous studies;

  • Similarities or differences with existing research;

  • Theoretical implications;

  • Practical, social, cultural, or policy implications where relevant.

The Discussion should demonstrate the scholarly contribution of the research.

It should:

  • Directly answer the research objectives or questions;

  • Highlight the principal contribution of the study;
